Located east of Monona, this girder bridge is the first of 27 crossings of Bloody Run.
Built in 1906, the bridge features a single through plate girder span, set onto concrete abutments. It was constructed by Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Company, who built many of these structures in the time period.
The bridge is easy to access, as it is next to Greenfield Avenue.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition. It has recently been strengthened with high strength bolts.
